What do I have to do to prep my 1967 Ford Mustang for an engine swap?

Okay so I just got my first car! Woo hoo! It's a 1967 Ford Mustang with an inline six engine and I really would like to put a 302 V8 in it, but I will put a 289 in if I had to. Besides swapping the engine mounts in my car what other work would have to be done for my car to be able to handle a bigger engine? I luckily have a friend who has all the tools I will need, I just figured to ask some Yahoo people for good advice. I appreciate all of your help! Thanks!
