ok so, yeah. i have a friend coming over tomorrow bringing em 2 fish, and i dont have anywhere to put em. i have a 10 gal cichlid tank, 4 of em, and i dont wanna add anymore. im trying to set up a 55 gallon cichlid tank that im gonna put those in. but im in the process of building the stand.... i have everything else i need for it. shes bringing me 2... crap. some kind of cichlids, forgot what kind. its a pair and she said theyre small... mine are small, so size MIGHT not be a problem, but i just dont wanna add anymore fish in the 10 gallon, and th 55s not set up...
maybe i can add the cichlids in the 10 gallon in the 55, and put the new ones in the 10 gaLLON? let the 55 cycle over night, not fill it all the way, just enough for the filter to work, and leave em there till i build the stand, then put them in a bucket while i finish the 55?? or what can i do?? i have a 1 gallon... thats prolly way too small for 2 cichlids though.. temporary though?? or maybe a 5 gallon bucket? with the heater and stuff...
i dunno what to do!! but if i dont take em, ill never be able to get em cuz she cant hold em for me, and i dont have ay friends... i dunno what to do!! please help!
my possibilities are the 1 gallon, i have 2 5 gallon buckets, both with used and clean sand that i guess could be used to help cycle that small water and make it safe, or the 55....i also have a 33 community, maybe i can make a net somehow or some shield and seperate the cichlids from the others? i dunno what to do! please help!!!
