I will finishing up this semester with my 2 year degree in business. I work a full time job so I have to go at night so that 2 year degree has taken me 4 years to complete. I am 26 so now is not the time to be hesitant on what to do with it. I have a good job working for a local city with great benefits but I will never get blown away by the pay. I have a chance to go to a secondary school that could help me get the managers position for my department which pays pretty nice. But like I said I work for a local city and I see the political side of the job that he must go through and I am not sure I would ever want to do that.
I am considering continuing to go school to finish the other 2 years to get a 4 year degree which is now offered at my school but they offer a small portion of what's out there because they were a community college and went to a state college a few years ago. Which is good because when I get my diploma for the 2 year degree it won't say community on it. I plan on going to school within the next few weeks to discuss my options that I am hoping I can go to one of the bigger schools a few hours away. This thing is I need to keep my full time job so most of the classes will need to be online because I own my own house so I cannot move closer and I cannot drive 2 to 3 hours a day to go to school.
So many choices I don't know what to do. That's why I chose business to begin with I couldn't make up my mind and they said if I atleast get my 2 year degree I could transfer to any college in the state to finish up.
The one thing I do know is I can't stop at a two year degree.
