i am going to boot camp in 2 month i have a t.v., bed room set sofa set and a bunch of other stuff, what do i do with all these things before going to boot camp... i live in CA i am a student an i have no family close by will i have to give away all my stuff.

You could put it in storage, give it to friends, donate it to a charity such as the Goodwill, or sell it. Good luck in the Army!

Either give it away, put it in storage, or stash it in someones home who you can trust to return it when you are ready. If these ae not options, sell it on E-bay.
It could be a long time before you have a need for this stuff. by the time you finish boot camp and AIT, you will have burned up six months. You will have a ten day leave after this, so if you store this stuff, rent a truck, and drive it to where your family is, it will have already cost you $1000 just for storage and moving expense. Is this like putting good money after bad ?

E-bay probably makes the most sense, but what do I know, I'm just the 800# gorilla in the room !

Have a garage sale now. I don't know how much money you have, but I remember when I went to bootcamp things changed for me substantially. You don't even know if you will be stationed in CA so I would definately sell my stuff to have a little extra spending money or for savings. You also might want to consider talking to your bank and getting a good idea with what they offer because you will be bombarded from banks when you are in bootcamp and it is a good idea to have financial stability or at least understanding when talking with people.

Sell Sell Sell. Anything really personal maybe put it in a box and send it to someone you trust to hold onto or consider getting storage. You can find some that are as cheap as 35 dollars a month or mayber even cheaper.

Hope this helps

Get rid if the bedroom set & sofa set because you will live in barracks and you will not need it at all nor will it fit. They provide the bed, desk, chest of drawers for it. You can put your clothing, tv, And other things into a small storage place. Pay in advance because it can be up to 6 weeks before you get paid
