My pit is a little dog aggressive, mostly just when dogs run up to him when we are outside and most of the time it is other males he doesnt get along with. I always have him on a leash, but most people around here do not leash their dogs and cant control them. I normally just have to hold my dogs head the other way until the other dog leaves and alot of times the dog doesnt even have an owner with them. So if my leashed dog and I are on a walk and a small dog runs up to us and gets bit, is it my fault? I think my dog feels threatened when dogs run towards us, and he is really protective. My dog needs walks but theres so many dogs running in sidewalks.
What do I do when off leash dogs run up to my dog agressive pit when I am on walks?
