WHAT DO I DO? MY FISH IS EATING MY OTHERS!?

i have a 6" fish my g/f gave me in my 55g and i do nt even know what kind of fish it is , it has orange fins with scales and big eyes and is long. but he ate 6 of my fish in 2 nighs, 3 fish in front of me. I NEED TO GET RID OF HIM and i cant return him to my fish stores b/c they dont carry this fish and wont accept it (ive tried with other fish and they wont accept it). i cant run another tank because i have 2 tanks running already and i have nobody to give it to!! i dont wanna kill it because i would feel really bad but id be really angry if he nipped the fish that i had for a while!
 
Get a tank divider until you can find someone to take him. Put an ad on craigslist offering him to a good home. He is probably just territorial and needs more space. If you give us a picture we may be able to help identify him.
 
LOL, some gifts you getting from g/f. Have you been misbehaving lately? ;-) .... Use a divider in your tank. They aer not expensive, post us a picture and someone will help you identify your 6 inch orange monster fish. If it's really an oscar you got yourself really interesting fish however it will outgrow 55 gallon tank fairly fast as well as redecorate it as he likes. Plants and smaller fish would become his food or chew toys. If it's an oscar he'll need a good filtration as well.
It you intend to give it away post an ad at craigslist. You can at least tell us a city where you live and may be someone next to you get this vicious predator off your hands
 
The fish might be a redtail botia..its a type of loach and can eat other fish. So unless u want to end up with a bunch more dead fish u have to remove it from the tank.
