My ex-girlfriend and i dated for 5 years. We started dating at 17. She broke up with me a last week because we got into a huge argument. We've had arguments before, and we always resolved our issues. But our recent argument was bad.
I was out with my friends and girlfriend, and one of my friends (a girl) was drunk, and I didn't want her to drive home. I gave her a ride home, and she was throwing up all over the place, so i helped take care of her. When i got back to the club, my girlfriend was questioning me about where i went and why i was gone for so long, so i told her, and she accused me of cheating. I apparently had lipstick stains on my shirt, but i got it from holding my friend because she kept falling. So when we got home she ended it with me and kicked me out.
After our breakup, I've tried to call her and go to the house just to talk to her. She keeps telling me to get off the property (it's under her name) and stop contacting her or else she'll call the cops and get a restraining order on me. I haven't done anything violent. and i haven't threatened her either.
Could she actually get a restraining order on me? and what should I do about this whole situation?? i'm so hurt and confused. I would never cheat on her.
