I was in Yahoo pool in amsterdam social room and some guy named "tha_something" cant remember his name but started with tha_ and I made a comment to another player because he was abusing me verbaly at my table and so I made a comment to him in the main chat room, and the tha_something guy said "why dont you go kill yourself" and i was talking to this other guy when he said it to me and i wasn't even talking to him but he butted in and said that and I got really upset and told him he belongs in prison because he is a murderer and said im not taking this **** and im outa here. so i left and haven't been back to any room since.
i have had 2 friends (god bless them) that commited suicide before when i was a kid and i even told this peice of **** this but he did not care and he was really heartless. what can i do about abuse like this. I know its to late now because I left and forgot to get his name and I did not take any screen shots of what he said.
this is not the only time I have heard threats in the chat either. For the last 4 days I have played yahoo pool in other chat rooms this other guy named "pool_legend" with some numbers at the end said "im going to murder you and your whole family" and everyone told him to shut up and he said "i will murder you"
is there anyway to take action on abuse like this because i dont mind when someone calls me a bad name or says a lame mom joke but when someone tells me or other people they are going to kill them or if someone tells me to kill myself i do not put up with that crap.
i really doubt yahoo will do anything about it but that is why i am asking so can someone tell me what to do.
thanks for all the quick replys guys, vault boy that is VERY rude. you are the type of person that is saying this crap to people. these people do care and 1 of them is even praying for me. the bad thing is i did not get his complete name so i dont think i can report him. the second thing is, all you people tell me to ignore him but my ignore list is full because of all the junk i see every day with bots and spamers so even if i ignored him he would come back off ignore after he or I leave the room. so i really cant perm. ignore him
