Umm...my family is incredibly abusive. My mother is emotionally and verbally abusive. She slams things, screams at you, slams your door over and over again to wake you up, won't let you sleep, will just scream at you non-stop, and when you don't respond to her and just ignore her, she threatens to put you in a mental institution. My uncle is physically abusive, and my brother is mostly verbally abusive, although he gets physical as well. I'm in a country where the police system sucks, and when I called after my brother choked me they said how I'm calling about stupidities, how I should just settle it with my brother. My mother now recently came to live with us, and she's doing all these things. I'm literally shaking. I haven't slept all night, she was just screaming, and screaming, because I took a late shower. What do I do? I feel like they're going to end up killing me if not physically, then emotionally. I've tried to look for apartments, I can't find any. Again I'm not in the US, so it's not like I can go to a shelter or something. I'm in a country in Eastern Europe where there are no animal shelters and where police don't respond to things like this....Help...what do I do?
