Ok, so my husband and I bought a 2008 Chrysler 300 and then, 3 days after that they announced on the news that 34 chrysler dealers would be closing down, but they didn't say much more. And of course, the one I went to happens to be closing and soon. So I need advise on who to turn to before it's to late?
They threw in a free upgraded wood trim package for the inside, because we don't like the color of trim that's in there. The salesman told us the guy who handles all this got let go a few days after we were there and he ended up feeding us lies for the past 4 weeks acting like he was doing something and actually wasn't doing anything about resolving our issue so I spoke to the General Mgr and he said they were in the process of letting people go immediately because that dealership would be closing. He didn't tell me when exactly, nor do I think he knows. But he said they still need to take care of us and he ordered the part and said it's coming from Canada, so it may take a little while to get here but be patient and they'd get us taken care of. I figure 2 weeks tops! But I don't know if I have 2 weeks!
So what do I do if they close the dealership before my part gets there? Who do I go to? I think I'm screwed because I know when we signed papers at the day of the purchase I signed one that said they owed me 1 upgrade trim package to be installed for free. Something like that but he didn't give me a copy of it and I never asked for it because I made the #1 mistake, I trusted them.
--Should I call their corporate office now and get them involved before it's too late, and all the workers get let go and there's no one there for corporate to talk to?
