Since the global economy has negatively affected virtually every industry, I'd like to know what's now being used or taught in U.S. biology classrooms, especially at the junior /senior high level:
o What kinds of materials are still being used in class, ie. live organisms, microbiological media, animals for dissection, apparatus, etc.?
o How often or what time of the year are these items being used?
o How much of these categories of items, if at all, are being used in class,due to cutbacks in budgets?
Or is the entire biological curriculum heading toward mostly cyberspace?
What would YOU like to see more or less of in teaching in your field?
