Try to be brief: mom is single mother, middle child, grew up in abusive home, from all we can glean she has some sort of anxiety/depression and learning disability...she is ALWAYS complaining...very negative person. Nothing we try to do seems to please her. She is poor and I used to feel compassion for her, but now it's getting pathetic...she acts like she can do nothing for herself and lives off the government. She gives up so easily. Today at home, I cooked and washed dishes and cleaned but she never thanks me (i'm 21 and usually in college across the country) but if i don't do it just ONE day she'll yell why am i so lazy and why are there dishes in here. She has to take the bus to work now since her car got reposesed (she just ignored her bills) and complains how much she hates taking the bus and it's sooo hard blah blah blah...I'm not trying to be mean but the constant whine of her high pitched voice gives me bad headaches. i don't know what to do. She's not the nuturing type, but somehow i've become more "motherly" to my own brother and will go to med schoool...guess i'm scared to be like her?
