I know what your thinking 'Do your own homework' but I assure you, I am 23, it's summer, and I never bothered with that whole homework thing anyways.
But I am wondering, what effect did the news that there were intelligent(Native American) people already living in an area of the world that European society didn't even know existed.
I know that the Europeans saw the Native Americans as savages, and probably didn't look at them as 'people'.
But I am trying to relate that, to the idea of people today discovering intelligent life on another planet. Everyone else I've talked to about this, thinks the connection is brilliant, but they don't have an answer.
Anyone have some information about the news that there were other people in North America? Or any opinions, perhaps just wanting to comment on the sheer Brilliance of the comparison
