What did everybody think of Casshern Sins?

Well what does everybody think f this new funimation dubbed show? I just bought the first box set. There are 2 box set's and I got the first 12 episodes.

I saw the first 3 episodes and this show is depressing!!

SPOILERS!!!



All the characters keep dying.

So what does everyone else think about this show?
 
I watched the fansub of this pretty excited, and by the end of the series I was pretty dissapointed, if anything I'd call this Casshern Alternate: Sins.

Characters don't get much screen time and like you said everyone keeps dying over and over.
