She was in hiding until she was discovered and taken to a concentration camp, where she died.
 
You should read "The Diary of Anne Frank." It should be mandatory reading for everyone so that people can get a greater understanding of the horrors of man.

The Franks were discovered in August of 1944 and sent to concentration camps; Anne died the next year in a typhus epidemic at the camp of Bergen-Belsen. Malnutrition also played an important role in her death. I am pretty sure she didnt have to work
