Have any of you noticed that many denim brands (particularly Old Navy and Gap) have removed two of their belt loops from the back of their jeans? There used to be a belt loop in the center back, two on each hip, and one between each of these on either side, above each cheek, if you will. On many brands, these loops are now gone, I'm guessing as an easy cost-cutting measure that few consumers notice.
Although I'm a relatively thin guy (34" waist), this lack of loops drives me crazy. My jeans always get messed up in the back without those loops, and I can never "dress up denim" by tucking in a shirt, as the waistline is all goofed up in back.
Any brand recommendations that haven't ditched these necessary loops in the back?
