Hello,at your age first take Biology,Chemistry & Intro to Physics. If you do well then you are ready for Advanced Placement Bio. During summer you need to get your SCUBA certification (NASDS or PADI) then get your dive notebook going with the record of your dives. Take pictures, be gentle with the environment. Join an Explorers troop if you are short of $. Get a job at the dive shop, read and read more books(the old fashioned ones) Write to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute ( a letter not an e-mail) This is an old boys network so work on your writing style-the scientific one not the hair.You are on your way!
