Starting to make Tee Shirts with friends, and i was curious what counts as copyright if we were to use pop culture icons, and characters in our shirts. The designs are all done freehand and the characters used never have their actual name or logo on the shirt, but it is obviously them. Is this illegal? i know of other companies that do it, and am curious how they get away with it.
