Hello I am 26 years old and I have been having gastric health problems for 4 months now and the doctors cant seem to find what is wrong with me. they wont refer me for a colonoscopy even though I have asked them for months now. I was just wanting some opinions on what this could possibly be. although I know I cant get a diagnosis online I just want a few opinons on what I should have the doctor do or what this sounds like it could pooibly be
here are my symptoms

pain in left upper abdomen

really bad rumbling in my stomach

diareah and some times constipation

mucus in stool (not always but sometimes)

blood in stool, The doctor gave me a FOBT test and two were positive for blood and one was negative

I have lost my appetite (just dont feel hungry anymore)

Weight loss( the weight loss was before I lose my appetite

Nasea

real bad bloating and pressure in my stomach it is there 24/7 almost but gets
worse after I eat

feel full easy

I am just wondering what are some of the things this could possibly be?
and what test should I have done to get a diagnosis?

here are the test I have had done.

x-rays of stomach
blood work
barium x-ray of small intestines

Mathew you have dysbiosis as a result of taking antibiotics. You now have an overgrowth of yeast (candida albicans). You need to kill the yeast and restore your flora of healthy bacteria in your stomach. You need to do this with probiotics.
Doctors hand out prescriptions for antibiotics like candy. They do not care that the antibiotics also kill the friendly bacteria in the stomach. You cannot digest your food properly without good bacteria.

Sounds like IBS to me, irritable bowel snydrome, nothing too serious, just very uncomfortable. Look it up online and see if the other symptoms match yours. The drug stores have some pretty good stomach and digestive enymes that work. Watch your diet also. I've had this for years and will get an acute attack every few months. Drink plenty of water also. Good Luck. I hope you feel better. Linda
