...discolouration, and numbness? My friend told me today that she was sitting in a room and all of a sudden her right arm went numb with a tingly feeling and her hand/forearm turned a purplish colour. About 10 minutes ago she told me that her arm went numb again and her veins started to bulge out, like some kind of swelling/throbbing within the vein, and the tips of her fingers turned red, after about 5 minutes she said that it was still throbbing and she could see every vein in her hand, and it was turning purple-ish. She told me that her arm was in a resting state, with no pressure anywhere. She smokes but lives a moderately normal lifestyle. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
