years to become a councillor? Hi, Im in my early 20s and I would really like to become a councillor. (child abuse,youth problem, relationship issues, personal issues, depression, etc) It is my passion to give people advice and help them...and i think it will be great to turn this into a career.I have been through A LOT in my life that I know I'll be able to relate to many things with people with issues..sorry my english is my 3rd language so im not good at explaining what it is thats really making me want to become a councillor...But this is what I really want to do!!!!My friends and family are all supporting me in this. Anyway I have a child who's 2 and if I start the social science course, it will be in 1-2yrs time. But I would really like to study or do something before I start my course so I dont waste any time and have more knowledge when i start it but I really dont know what to do. Is there any recommended books (txt books?) for people like me to read or study on who are getting prepared for this course?or sites maybe?I dont work at the moment so I have all the time in the world!Any advice?
