What could cause a clunk that you can hear and feel when pedaling on a bicycle? I...

...took it to the bike shop? and they took it out and rode it and they said they couldn't feel it or hear it but I rode it and I could. It's got a single speed with a euro bb in it and I took off the crank and tightened the cups(they were loose but when I put everything together and rode it again it still made the noise). Could it be really crazy chainslap or could the possibility that I ride left foot lead be the reason(odd theory, I know). It only makes the noise when I pedal hard and it usually makes it when my right foot is in the three o'clock position. It sorta feels like something inside it wants to keep spinning but the fact I stopped it has to stop.

or could it be me overthinking the noise? haha.

It sounds like you may not have been in gear, that would cause a clunk when the chain slipped in the sprocket, they didn't hear it because they probably put ti in gear.

Check the pedal and take a look at the front sprocket where it meets the chain at that position. It probably is the BB you need to clean and regrease it or replace the whole thing.

If you didn't buy the bike there they probably didn't want to mess with it. Especially if it is a department store bike.
