On two occasions the brakes on my Ford Fiesta (1996, Diesel) have disappeared - nothing there when you press down pedal. The problem then resolves itself and normal braking returns. First time I thought it could be something I had done but definitely not the case second time. Problem is very intermittent - had car six months and otherwise no problems. Don't want to kill myself or others so car now off road - want to get idea of problem before I venture to get brakes fixed!!

replace master any time you don t have pressure its bad or out of fluid doe sit once you have filled or its full... master bad

You could start by changing the brake fluid. Over time it takes up water and then when hot the water becomes steam and this is compressible. If the fault occurs in times of continuous braking then this is the fault. As others have said it could be the level but I hope that you checked that first.

Go to Qwik Fit or some similar organisation and have it sorted by some one who knows what they are doing.
