What could be wrong with my car if it runs bad in the rain? 1996 Mazda?

I have a 1996 Mazda Millenia that ran perfect when I got it about 6 months ago. I was wondering what could be wrong with it if when it rains I push on the gas and it doesnt go unless I pump the gas a little bit. the rpms go up, but It doesnt get up to speed until I pump the gas. It also shakes a little bit. It shakes when I am stopped with the ac on also, I was wondering why that could be to?
