I am looking at my neighbors 2000 dodge intrepid. It wont start, and the battery is toast. Oh it has the small V6 and it's 83,000 miles. Anyway, the body and interior are in very good shape and my neighbor will sell it to me for 750 bucks. I think its worth it but not till i know whats wrong with it. OK here is what is goin on, the guy who owns it know said that he was driving home and then it started pittering and putting and eventually stalled. He waited a minute or so and it started and he was able to get it home. and it never started again. A few people the battery and alltinator need are bad. I don't want to put a battery in it cause it aint mine and also say i get it runnibg the dude may up the price. Anyone got some input?
