while i was driving i had the normal oil pressure ( about 40 psi ) after driving a few miles i lost the oil pressure and the engine started to knock. I have the proper oil on the dip stick. I let the van sit awhile and and still no pressure. i don't know why but the knocking got much lesser but the gauge still shows no pressure.
what could be the problem if i have no oil pressur in my 1998 dodge ram 1500 van?
