I just purchased 2 new batteries for my Cargo van. One battery is under the hood, that is daisy chained to the secondary battery, that is connected to the 2k watt inverter. The reason I purchased these 2 is because the employee at Wal-Mart said both batteries were bad. I swear I think they say batteries are "bad" just so they can sell batteries.
So, i changed both batteries, and now I am having the same problem. I figured it was due to me leaving my GPS plugged into the lighter causing it to drain my battery. So, I unplugged it after charging (running) my van for 40 minutes. To measure that the batteries were fully charged I used a volt meter, and tested the voltage while the van was running at 13.65. With the van off the voltage read 12.05. 2 days later the battery under the hood read under 3 volts. Now, wtf can be draining the batteries?
I have no idea what's doing this.
