What could be done to fix the Heavy Vibration on my Mazda?

I have a 2004 Mazda 3, and as soon as I start it up, it vibrates really really bad. It will go away once I pick up speed but when I stop at a light and then accelerate once more, it gets loud again. I do not know anything about cars, so please help if you can tell me what's wrong with it. Thanks.
