I’m a 21 yr old female who gets some monstrous and sharp pain in my knees. Mainly it’s my right knee more than my left. As far as I know I haven’t had any horrible injuries to my knees. I fell and got scars on my left knee when I was four, but I don’t think that’s the cause.
The pain is like it’s in the joint and behind the kneecap. I’ve had it on and off since I was 16-ish. It gets bad when I’m standing around at work, but sometimes it comes on for no reason. I’ll also sometimes get a sharp pain when I’m walking and my knee seems like it’ll give out.
I plan to go to my doctor sometime…any idea what might be causing this?
