It started gradually in the right foot on the inside of the arch (more towards the heel, but definitely still the arch). It was first a dull pain when I was driving. Now it wakes me up at night because it hurts so bad, or I'll get a shooting pain during the day. I'm active, 28, not overweight, female, and a teacher, so I am on my feet a bit. I never wear heels to work. When I work out, I normally use the arc trainer, which is almost no impact. The pain is starting to creep up the side/front of my ankle. I originally researched and thought it was plantar fasciitis, but I've been reading more about that condition causing heel pain, not arch pain. I made an appointment with a podiatrist, but I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this. It's starting to interfere with my life.
