above is a link to read the poem. I need to write a paper with an argument about this poem.The poem is pretty literal and I am having a tough time figuring out what to make an argument on. There are some points that i would like to be clarified such as "why is this text important?" "why does he light the spider on fire at the end? is that some sort of symbolism?" "after his parents fight why are they just sitting there? Any other tips or explanations would be greatly appreciated!!!
