I'm wanting to create a map in ArcGIS (a database/mapping computer program) and I need to choose a coordinate system.. in the UK I would probably use OS (Ordnance Survey), but I've no idea what the French equivalent to this is.
Is there somewhere online I can find out about different coordinate systems used in France and which is the most commonly used? I've heard of the Lambert system or something... is this one?
