What conditions (besides IBD) could cause inflammation in the distal ileum X 4 weeks?

I am looking for all possible (plausible) causes for inflammation in the distal ileum (seen on abdo CT with contrast), with symptoms of passing mucous, RLQ pain (intermittent) x 4 weeks. Diarrhea for the first 4 days of this only, then pretty much normal bm's except for passing some mucous, which seems to be tapering off over time. Was taking Aleve (Naproxen) x 5 months prior to onset of these symptoms, and upon stopping the Aleve, symptoms improved drastically over a 2 week period and now are almost gone completely.

Obviously IBD is being suggested because of the specific location of the inflammation. But 99% of crohn's symptoms were not there. This coupled with the drastic improvement after stopping Aleve, makes me really think it's not IBD so I am looking for other suggestions. (And not only because a diagnosis of IBD would mean a certain end to a career in the military) but I honestly believe it's not IBD!

NSAID enteropathy? Infectious (viral? bacterial?) Anything else that can cause inflammation in that specific area lasting about 4 weeks?
