What colour should I paint my front door?

I live in a low rise block of flats and have an external front door which goes onto a balcony.

I am having the windows replaced with whit uPVC ones and a new wooden door put in.

I was going to paint the door white for two reasons, 1. it matches the windows, 2. it's less liable to warp from the sun (it gets direct morning sun, so this might be an issue) but after reading similar questions I am now not sure.

Does anyone have any advice for me?
 
wood warps from moisture, not from sun, however if your windows are already white, why don't you just make it simple and go for white door as well?
