Its a small living room combined with a kitchen. I have a dark brown leather sofa and dark maroon curtains. The floors are hardwood and a dark brown. I just got a rug that is a combination of red,yellow,green,dark blue and our dining room table is glass with white chairs. I was thinking of painting the walls purple because that's my favorite color but i don't know if it will match well with the furniture. I was thinking a dark red but read that color can be overwhelming. Also since my living room is combined with a kitchen should i paint everything the same color or the living room one color and the kitchen another? I'm not sure what to do and there are so many possibilities!
