We just moved into a new home and I need to do some serious painting. I am painting all of the floor boards and trim white because they are ugly 80's fake wood now. I have a brown and gold bedspread and all light brown furniture. I don't want to go white walls or taupe because that is a little too boring. I also don't want to go brown because that would be too much brown in one room. What would be a good color that would compliment the brown decor?
