First you should know that there is decorative molding on EVERY wall in the apartment (I hate it). I painted them white already & would prefer to leave them that color. Also, my living room is a pretty decent size with a small but open alcove off to the side. My tables, bookshelves, & TV stand are all black but my couch & rug is white (hardwood floors also). I was thinking of doing some type of greenish color but I'm not sure if I should do it throughout the entire living room and the alcove.
Also, since I live in a 1 bedroom apartment it could also be useful to know that my bedroom is a blueish/greyish color (complete with white decorative molding of course!) I chose the darker color because all of my furniture in the bedroom is on the lighter side. I would like to try to keep a similar color scheme throughout. Thoughts/opinions are greatly, greatly appreciated!!!
