What colleges is based off of or has courses on VFX such as Digital effects and CGI?

I want to go to college for VFX or CGI training for film and television, I am still a beginner but i want to become better. Which schools offers this training? or should i take outside classes? if so, please list some (links preferable). Also, i don't have any drawing skills, is it needed? I suck at drawing.
Btw, I live in NYC. Closer is better, Although I wont mind going to L.A. but try to find one in NYC.
