10 pts!? To start, I will be a junior in the fall, but I want to start thinking about colleges.
So far, I have a 3.78 unweighted GPA. I have been taking all honors classes when available (AP is not offered until junior year at my school) I usually get all A's - the lowest grade I have gotten in high school was a B+
Next year I will be taking 3 AP classes (Biology, US History, English Language & Comp) as well as 2 honors classes (Precalc and Spanish 4)
By the time I graduate, I will have taken 4 years of the core subject areas (math, english, science, social studies and language)
I have played varsity sports throughout high school
I have been doing some volunteer work, and will be doing much more this summer/coming year
I have a job that I will have had for a year coming this fall, and will continue throughout high school
I participated in a few clubs, but will be doing a few more junior/senior year
I haven't taken SAT's or ACT's yet, but I will in the fall
I am definitely in the top 25% of my class, possibly top 20%
What schools do you think I could get into? Names for example would be appreciated! What would be a reach, and what would be a safety?
I am more inclined to the northeastern part of the US, but I would be willing to look around North Carolina and such as well. Money is not important.
