...pilot occupation? I'm a 20 year old currently pursuing my professional pilot training. I'm working on my commercial license but I'm having trouble deciding on a degree option to boost or rather deepen my Pilot skills. I would like to indulge into a field which can be a backup career or otherwise also allow me to work in the aviation filed but also give me the flexibility to operate on the ground. Some of the options i've looked at are Aviation science and technology, Aircraft and power plant mechanic, avionics technician and aviation safety and management. Its really difficult for me to choose the right option and colleges which provide these programs in the Houston Area. Other than that, i would like to know if the 4 year degree is a specific period required.
