What classes should I take if I want to make animes, video games, or become a novelist?

I'm a Freshman in college and registration for classes is starting to come up. For the most part, I believe that I have an interest in creating stories which is why I declared my major in creative writing when I first started college. However, I can't keep up with all the reading that I have to do so I'm thinking about cahnging my major. Besides writing stories, I also have a love for animes and video games and I would love to work in a career dealing with anime or video games. I know that if I wanted to bcome a video game designer I would have to change my major to computer science, but I heard that your math skills have to be really good in order to handle computer classes and my math skills aren't so great so I'm just really confused about what I want to do. I'm worried that if I continue in Creative Writing and I decide that I want to switch later that I would have already wasted a lot of my time (and money) studying something that I didn't stick with. Not to mention that I don't know how far I will get in life with creative writing however, the classes and the professor seem to much more lively and enthusiastic than the Computer Science class and professor. So right now, I don't know what I want to do. Is there anybody who had a similar problem to mine? If so, how did you solve it?
