What circumfrence inch wheels do road bikes have?

Don't measure it, read it on the tire you have on there. if there is not a tire on then it should be imprinted on the rim. depends on the size of the bike but most adult bikes are either 26" or 28". but you need to look a bit more deeply than the diameter, as there are different widths available too. 700C would be common for a full size men's bike but 650C for women's, or smaller men's.
But if you cant be bothered measuring it, can you be bothered putting the tire on? what if your "no bother approach" leads you to require a second purchase, after you found that the first one was wrong? Will you measure it then? or maybe go back to the shop and have another guess? Maybe you could tell the shop what color bike it is.....Ha Ha! Joking. best to read the tire that's on there, or take the wheel off and bring it to the shop. They will do it for you.
