Roy Rogers was a clean-cut, decent man who became a huge star in the 40's and 50's by staring in Westerns. As decent in real life as he was on screen, he and his wife and co-star, Dale Evans, practiced what they preached, lead outstanding lives, stayed away from scandal, and adopted needy children.
