...life? in search of mother's garden? Im reading an excerpt of "in search of mother's garden" and one of my essay questions is this.
i had a few guesses... but im a bit confused..
my previous question asked what legacy prior black women have left their daughters... and i thought that was the stories and such...
for this one.. i thought it was her creative spirit... or her respect...
the line says "her face, as she prepares the Art that is her gift, is a legacy of respect she leaves to me, for all the illuminates and cherishes life"
