I am eligible for an upgrade at Verizon. I do text quite frequently, about 900 texts per month, so I would prefer a phone with a full qwerty keyboard. I do like touch screens, a lot. The problem is, Verizon now forces you to purchase a data plan on most phones. I am a college student who can't exactly fit that into the budget, but the $10 plan could work.
The other option: my dad has T-Mobile. I could go under his plan, but my college is in a valley and coverage from T-Mobile isn't the best as Verizon. I would like my calls and texts to be reliable, so I know others receive my texts and I will have adequate service for my calls. However, I don't think T-Mobile has a required data plan (yet), so that appeals to me.
I just want a phone to text, and possibly keep track of my busy schedule and whatnot.
What should I do? Deep down, I want the iPhone. That doesn't look like an option though
