I am looking for a phone that offers the best web browsing capability. I hate how my current phone wont load some websites. Is the PPC-6700 with Sprint the best? Does the Nokia 770 work here in the United States? I dont care what carrier the phone is with, I just want the best PDA or cell phone that offers the best web browsing capability.
Thanks

The carrier has a lot to do with it since that is how you connect to the web. My guess is that you are in a poor Sprint data area.

I live in zip code 79424.

For web browsing purposes, meaning the ability to load more web pages in full without being blotchy or messed up, would the PPC-6700 or Treo 700Wx be better? both are windows 5.0

Where is Zip Code 79424? Texas is a big state. Have you checked which carrier provides the best coverage where you will be using the phone?

WEst texas, Lubbock, Tx to be exact. Sprint, Alltell and Cingular out here. I was told the PPC-6700 by a sprint person today was the best, is that true?

Well, not sure about that. I think the PPC-6700 is about at the end of its shelf life as it has been around for awhile. Have you looked at the Samsung IP830?

As I asked earlier, have you looked at the coverage maps for where you plan to use the phone, i.e. where you live, work, play and travel? Even the best device is no good if you don't have a good connection. That is where you need to start. Are you planning to stay with Sprint?

Once you decide on the carrier, then you can look for a phone to go with it.

I looked at the IP830, but thought it's main intention was for international use, and since i dont travel outside the US, put it down and kept looking- is it a good phone to browse the internet on?
