What causes you to pass out when exercising?

I started going to the gym a couple months ago, and everything has been going fine until the last two times I have gone. Both of these times, I have almost passed out. It starts with me feeling light headed, then I get dizzy, and then I start to hear ringing in my ears. So I sit down for a while and feel real nauseous and about five minutes later I will feel fine, but hands start to tingle for a minute or so. After it happened the first time, I made sure I ate something, and I drink gatorade while I work out. Whats weird is that I have been doing this same work out routine for months and only these past two times has this happened. The two times it has happened, I went earlier in the day then I normally do, so maybe that has something to do with it. Any thoughts?

Its because your body is not gettin enough oxygen, it is losing more oxygen than recieving. This is why we gasp for air after a heavy work out. You should take it easy when you hit the gym. Gradually build up your exercise routines.
