What causes Explorer error when clicking on Yahoo news headlines?

When a news headline is clicked on my Yahoo page, the article will open and immediately go to "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page". This does NOT happen when viewing headlines in Google. I'm using Windows XP. On rare occassions the news article will open and stay on the page, but its random.
