What cartoon was set on a flying turtle's back?

When I was a kid in Australia, there was this cartoon that played on TV alot (in the late 90s). It was set in medieval times and was many different stories, one including the Grim Reaper and one including a peasant man in medieval times. The show would alternated between these mini stories but would always show the world on the back of a giant turtle's shell, flying through space.
Anyone know what the name of this show was?!!
