What areas specifically do they work in? And please dont say banking as I dont want to work in a bank.
My story is that I recently graduated from university with a degree in languages and I work in a sales company using my German and French and although the money is OK I feel that the people here are often rude with awful manners and a low level of culture and education. They read tabloid newspapers and are often rude to me and lots of them have frozen me out, and I dont know why they have, but I think it might be because they think I'm posh. Although I come from a highly educated family and grew up in a comfortable home, I will talk to anyone and I'm not a snob, but these people are just freezing me out and not inviting me to work socials which is hurtful. I want to be around other polite people like me. I come from a polite and good family where we listened to classical music read the proper newspapers and went to art galleries and where we dressed nicely and went to church. Being around these people is killing me.
